Message Bolting the two filters into the existing airbox really would not add much power than if you'd drilled out the box and left the stock airfilters in place for example.

The only way you'd get better power would prolly be to create some sort of ram air setup along with it all. In other words, dump air directly into the cone filters thru some kind of a shroud with a small mouth (to hopefully create less turbulence).

I think Ashs setup would be the best for dual cones. Why? The two cones obviously would allow more air (from more filter surface area) to dump in. But, Ashs setup narrows (like an X-pipe) then opens up again into the MAS. This 'bottleneck' setup can make for a good venturi effect right behind the dual filters and after the bottle neck, before the MAS (where it widens up again) makes for good high pressure air and flow into the MAS.

I've seen similar setups done by engineering students for SAE competitions and also on race cars. Now how it would affect everything on a Z32 lends itself to how you shape/design everything.
